Why do students need an e-bike "built for them" rather than "modified for them"?
Recent enforcement actions by the Hanoi Traffic Police have shed light on a growing concern: modified electric motorcycles are increasingly appearing at school gates. These vehicles are often fitted with unauthorized IC chips, oversized batteries, or non-standard tires. As pointed out by the Hanoi Traffic Police Department, such modifications compromise the vehicle's structural integrity, increase fire risks, and significantly raise the likelihood of serious accidents—especially for inexperienced young riders. Instead of waiting for regulations to catch up, AVDL chose proactive innovation: designing a safe, certified, and age-appropriate mobility solution for Vietnamese students from scratch.

Unlike many products on the market that are retrofitted from adult models, the development of the AVDL A10 was based on insights from over 12,000 students in Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, and Hai Phong.
